Notice: Proposed Tool In Active Design

SchemaCraft is currently under active architecture and prototyping. The features described below represent our planned specification. This tool is not yet deployed for general public use.

The Concept: Visual Contract Modeling

API contracts and data payloads often begin as messy mental models. Developers spend excessive time hand-authoring verbose JSON Schema definitions, manually typing matching TypeScript interfaces, and inventing synthetic test data to exercise their endpoints.

SchemaCraft eliminates this repetitive overhead by providing a unified, visual designer that treats data models as interactive node trees.

Planned Capabilities

  • Visual Structure Design: Drag-and-drop hierarchy builder for complex nested JSON objects and arrays.
  • Type Constraints & Validators: Granular constraint rules including regex patterns, numerical boundaries (min/max), string lengths, and enum definitions.
  • Required vs. Optional Modeling: Toggle field optionality with visual indicators that immediately reflect in generated types.
  • TypeScript Interface Generator: Live bi-directional compilation of schema nodes into clean, idiomatic TypeScript definitions.
  • JSON Schema Draft 7/2020-12 Export: Standardized specification export for validation pipelines, OpenAPI docs, and form generators.
  • Mock Data Synthesis: Generate realistic, customizable test payloads based on constraints and semantic field types (e.g. realistic names, UUIDs, addresses).

Architecture & Privacy Commitment

Like all Oompha Labs tooling, SchemaCraft is designed with a client-first security model:

  • Local Browser Execution: Schema definitions, code generation, and mock synthesis will run completely within the browser engine without saving payloads to remote servers.
  • Zero Data Telemetry: User data structures, intellectual property, and proprietary schemas remain strictly local to the developer's workstation.
